If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

I'm just thinking about doing the PL for this recording. My only worry is that should the recording have a very high frequency sound I might miss it. But normal pitches are fine.

Unlikely Anthony will have a high pitch.

It's just that I once had a high pitched electronic sound on one chapter of a recording of a book some time ago and I was unaware of it, but the young DPL picked it up. It was caused by another electronic device that was in the room and was picked up loudly on the mic. Even my friends who were staying at the time could not hear it, but it was there loud and clear!

I've looked briefly at the text and it looks interesting, and not too long as the chapters are fairly short.

It's a well-documented phenomenon... we lose the ability to hear that high pitch at around 18-20 years old, so don't worry about it.

OK fine - if Anthony is OK and you as BC - I'm happy to do it. It may get me away from the mic for a while!

Very happy to have you both on board !

Had a death in the family yesterday, so it may be a few days or so before I get started.

Sorry to hear that. No rush at all. I think you gave a completion date of July? I hope I can do a good job.

Hi Lynne

I'm very sorry but I will be unable to continue as a DPL for this Chesterton solo as I am now quite ill and have had very bad news from the hospital today as things have taken a turn for the worse.
