OK--

Here is the narration for chapter 16; I'm going to babble a little as I explain things, so please bear with me.

I apologize for the fact that it's in two parts, but that seemed the best way to fix one of my goofs without completely re-doing the first 11 minutes. The file is 10:43 minutes, but it ought to stop at 10:37, except that there's a piece of dialogue that I wasn't able to get rid of, no matter how much I highlighted and cut. The file is 4.9 MB.

The second bit is 18:10 minutes and 8.3 MB.

Once again, I read both the narration and the dialogue, taking the opportunity to go to the Big Hair place with the dialogue (fun!), since I knew it would be replaced.

Let me know if you'd like anything re-done; if not, I'll volunteer for some of Marguerite's unspoken-for dialogue. Thanks!

Upon re-listening to the first part of Chapter 16, I found goofs I didn't catch the first time (Sorry!). So I re-did it. Here it is:

hi,

i would like to claim Citoyen Bibot, in chapter one. I have only recently discovered librivox and think this is a fantastic project. this will be one of my first attempts so apologies if there is anything that needs to be amended but im happy to do it.

I just discovered that I've been sending you 64-bit recordings instead of 128. I'll rework them and get the proper versions to you in the next day or so.

HollyBliss: Thanks for the recordings. If you don't need to re-read, go ahead and fix them and send them in 128 bit, but don't re-read them, I'd rather you do other readings. Catharine might pipe up otherwise on this, as she has much more experience than I do.

A few weeks ago I said that I needed to hear from people that had claimed pieces and not finished them. This is a last call. I'll be returning parts to available the next time I take some time to sit down here and do some work on this project.

Sorry I have not been as on top of this project as I might like (and it deserves). I have too much going on in real life to be able to check in on it very often. It is good it does not get much action.

Hey, as long as you're happy with the readings (and it sounds like the parts that will eventually be stuck into the final chapter file are there), then it's all good. You might want to double-check that she has everything she needs in there, but as long as you think everything sounds okay, then there's no need to re-record.

And you're welcome for the PM. Life does get busy, doesn't it?

Narration is great, but so is dialogue. I don't care which you do. Just pick whatever part you think you would most want to do. I'm marking you down for the dialogue unless you tell me otherwise.

When we get to a point that there is only one part left in a section I might make a request for someone to read that part. I would have to also have the time to edit it right away before I would make such a request and I have no time to edit.
