Phil,

Still really enjoying your reading and the story. A couple of things on Chapter X:

6:33.5 Softly the old Miran smiled. You said Martian

8:48 Then—then our atomic bombs can destroy those forts, and we can move on! You left off the first “Then” It is a small thing but I think it adds something, but your call.

Hello again,

I had a few more minutes so I did Part XI.

Curiouser and curiouser!!

A few things in Part XI:

:40 Deenmor is sending, Buck," You added back between sending and Buck

3:45 Then a crew of two dozen Mirans started across the dry, crumbly powder of Mars' sands, toward the fort. I heard power

10:47 Also, the "S Doradus" had brought in several hundred tons of charged mercury on each trip, I hears ship. It does make a little difference to the meaning of the sentence.

11:43 For the mathematics had been perfectly correct, You said But. Again, minor but meaningful I think.

12:09.5 Because the laws of cause and effect didn't hold in what he was doing now. You said on (see above comments.)

12:50.5 Kendall wanted to see what this was doing. You added thing between this and was

Looking forward to the conclusion!

Thanks for the kind words, I try. :)

Chapter/Part 10 is PLOK

However, on 11 I think you missed:

10:47 Also, the "S Doradus" had brought in several hundred tons of charged mercury on each trip, I hear ship. It does make a little difference to the meaning of the sentence. :hmm:

I still hear ship.

Will probably be Tuesday before I get to the conclusion. Out of town, then back out of town Wed.-Fri. I really think I can get it this coming Tuesday.

Perfectly done Phil!! The Ultimate Weapon by John Campbell IS PLOK

Whenever you are up for another and are willing to have me, go for it.

I will be gone like for the next week, except maybe for Saturday, so if you don't hear from me, I have not fallen off of the face of the earth.

Thanks,

Wayne

Thanks a bunch Wayne and PLEASE don't fall off the earth. I've heard it is flat and you can just step over the edges so be careful.
