Hi Connie! I see this story is included here: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/37172

It's a bit long for one recording. It would either need to be divided in two - admittedly long - recordings, or done as a solo, where each chapter would be a separate section and much more manageable. But yes, if you'd like to offer it here in two parts, it will be welcomed :D

Hi Tyler! Thank you for your recording! An exciting story that carries the listener away into fantastic places!

I have a couple of PL notes if you could address:

- I noticed a missing phrase around 15:22 "upon the rocks, but what I found was only this: a strange dead"
- please make sure there are 5 seconds of silence at the very end

Hey all! I'm new to narrating, horror is my favorite genre. I thought I might add to the collection. Is the Legend of Sleepy Hollow acceptable for this collection? Thanks! so excited to be here

Welcome to Librivox and to the Horror Collection Kbwinches11

Yes, and gutenberg offers the story here: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/41

It is a bit long, so consider doing the 1-minute test to check your recording setup, lest you record a long section only to find it's unusable.

Also, depending on your reading speed, you might need to divide it in two parts if it gets longer than 74 minutes.

Or, if you'd like to start with something shorter you may find some suggestions here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=58271 (hopefully shorter  )

oooo two Devil stories!

Thank you, Dale, that long scream at the end was quite hair-raising!

And thank you, Ben! Great work, no screwing up.

Hi Daly! Welcome to Librivox and the Ghost and Horror Collection! An all time classic story, and you did a great job with it! PL OK! Thank you for contributing!

Here's your Reader page in the catalogue: https://librivox.org/reader/16665 which you can also access from your name-link in the Magic Windows. It lists the projects you read for, so it may appear a bit empty now, but I hope you enjoy recording, and gradually fill it up!
It can also help you keep track of your sections in ongoing projects under the "Reader Section Details" link.
