This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/christianity-and-liberalism-by-john-gresham-machen/
I'll have to listen to the last chapters. I agree - the ones I listened to were very good, and so much of it still applies today.

ITD - I listened to chapter 5 for pleasure today, and I found two missed edits (repeats). IF you want to fix them, I'm willing to replace the file at Archive.
42:23 - repeat: "Certainly it is a mistake to isolate...Testament" repeated at 42:28
50:40 - repeat: "Old words may here be used...gone" repeated at 50:44
If you are OK with a couple repeats of full sentences, it's not the end of the world if they stay in.

I'm always amused to hear a neat edit which results in someone confidently repeating themselves.TriciaG wrote: ↑August 12th, 2021, 2:16 pm ITD - I listened to chapter 5 for pleasure today, and I found two missed edits (repeats). IF you want to fix them, I'm willing to replace the file at Archive.

Great. I'll make it a priority to listen to the other sections and see if I catch any missed repeats.

I was able to listen (and enjoy) the last two sections, and found one missed repeat in the last one:
3:55-ish - repeat of "at the expense of the high spiritual heritage of mankind"

Did you really mean 3:55? I just can't seem to find that phrase in the 2 minutes either side of that mark.

Errr, no. I don't remember now. Maybe 33:55? It would be 23 or 33, probably not 13.
