Chapter 1 is PL OK. Intro/Outro sound good!!! Audio quality, clear. Diction precise.

As to speed, I noticed that the tempo slowed down at 6:30, which I personally preferred because this author throws out ideas fast and furious, like beads from a Mardi Gras float! It gave me a little more time to catch and savor each one. This is going to be fun.

PL Notes Chapter 2
15:34 writers, printers, sign-painters, you say painters

PL Notes Chapter 3
11:17 or at all events, a decenter one, I think this should be pronounced dee-cent-er, as in "more decent", not as "an opposer".

Tempo seems fine to me! Really loving it. Keep up the good work.

These comments could be talking about today. P.S. I'm one of those old people who love shop sales, live frugally, save and invest money, while watching my offspring spend, spend, spend.

Fixed and re-uploaded 2 and 3.
Thanks for the heads up on decenter! Google led me wrong on that one - it makes a lot more sense now.

Uploaded chapter 4, part 1.
At 11:17 I adjust my microphone, so the recording has a different quality to it. Is that something I should worry about/is there a simple solution?

PL Notes Chapter 4, Part 1

9:09 however flagrantly it may stand in opposition, you say fragrantly
The only difference I hear is a boost in volume from about 11:15 to 11:32, which could be remedied by selecting that bit and going Effect/Amplify/-2. And a drop in volume from about 12:04 - 12:30, and again from about 15:21 - 15:36, which could be remedied by going Effect/Amplify/+2.
These variations can be caused by an adjustment of the mike, or from you leaning into or away from your mike, or stepping away from the mike then resuming, or from a change in enthusiasm for what you read, or other causes. So, during your editing process you listen for amplification issues, and in this case they were quite visible in the wave form.

new word for me -- sacerdotal

PL Notes Chapter 4, Part 2

4:52 with even ones charwoman, you say chairwoman
8:13 18:20 you add an 's' after "that", as "in that's judgment"; "thats the author had ever written". I call your attention to it here because it happens often on this file, but I have not noticed it before. It does not hinder understanding so I have not notated all the times. Mostly I call attention so you can be mindful of this in future recordings. It could be removed, I think, by carefully editing out the 's' but that would be tedious.

Chapters 5 and 7 uploaded. (I know it's out of order, but 7 was so short and inviting I couldn't resist.)

PL Notes 06
9:53 Imagine that the United States during the Summer of 1917. Delete that.

08 PL OK, but the tempo is considerably slower than the other chapters.

Uploaded chapter 6, sped up the tempo of chapter 7.
And I don't hear the word "that" at 9:53 in chapter 5 (aka section 6). Can you double-check?
