Thanks! The reading itself is great! There are some technical things to fix:

- Volume way too low; needs to come up about 15 dB. (Your dramatic reading causes spikes that prevent straight amplification. You'll need to either use compression a few times along with amplifying, or manually de-amplify the louder exclamations to be able to amplify the whole thing.) https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Dynamic_Range_Compression#Audacity

When you amplify, it'll also be amplifying the background noise. I suggest using some noise reduction. https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Noisecleaning_With_Pics

About 2 seconds of silence at the beginning; please cut down to 0.5-1 second.

About 10 seconds of silence at the end. Please cut down to 5 seconds.

Please let me know if it’s still not loud enough or too loud and I can adjust. I’m using an iPad recording app called Ferrite that doesn’t seem to have a very precise way of measuring db amplification, unfortunately, but I’m hoping this version will do the trick : ).

It was at about 73 dB before; now it's at 82. All told, it needs to come up another 7 dB.
