I've traveled in at least 2/3 of our 50 states. While I don't pretend to be an expert in fountains, I can say that I have seen relatively few fountains in my journeys. I may be wrong, I just don't think they ever became as ubiquitous as the author hoped. Or, over time, they have been torn down and replaced with other more "modern" structures. They are beautiful, however, so I have nothing against them. 😀

sorry for the delay in PLing, Greg, but I finally got around to your section, which is perfectly PL ok and highly amusing, though I pitied the poor couple nevertheless. :? Some people really attract misfortunes constantly.

Thank you, this was a long section ! But it was worth it.

Thank you, Sonia. Your kind words always lift my spirits!

This story had an air of Washington Irving about it. Not quite, but fairly close. I just hope I did it justice!

Have a great day!

I am. But did I mention that I had to move my recording studio. I think it makes me sound different, but c'est la vie! :hmm:

Here is Section 8. As a resident of Virginia, it was my duty to do this one. But she didn't say anything about their mistreatment of the slaves and the Indians. Jim :?

well this article only deals with the "worthies" not the "unworthies" I guess  Even though, each of them probably also had their skeletons in their closets ;)

thank you, Jim, this section is PL ok. I do indeed here a difference in sound, probably you recorded in another room, but that's fine, it doesn't mar the audio pleasure :)
