good news !!! The person that uploaded the Black Cat scan replied immediately to my email and sent me new scans of the two pages. And offering help if any other pages were faulty. YAY.

Here they are: https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/faulty_pages.zip

One problem solved. Happy recording

 this story was somehow surreal ! I think the floating island concept is rather futuristic, but it's interesting that such stories already appeared in the Black Cat. Another flawless narrative, Greg, thank you so much. It's a great opener for this issue.

PL ok

Thank you! There was a certain H.G. Wells-like quality to it, just not as polished. It was fun to read and I can't help wondering if the island ever "reappeared" again!

I hope so. If not, our hero faces a life of worrying that he would be clapped into a set of darbies and dragged back to the Kingdom!

I would like to record section 3, however is there a chance you could get pages 22 and 24 re-scanned?

Roger, I'm so thrilled that you will participate in the Black Cat :9:

And yes...this issue seems to have a bad scan. I'm contacting the person who uploaded them, last time he was willing to help. I'll post them here as soon as I get them, so stay tuned !!!

HI. I'd like to take "Le Bretagne" but I have the same issue with pages 26, 28 and 30 - the last few characters of each line have escaped the scanner and it's not always possible to guess the missing word (part).

Thanks!

thank you Gill for making us fully claimed now :9: so cool to have you among the Black Cat narrators.

And sorry for the bad scans this time :( the previous issues rarely had a problem. I hope it will not continue that way :? I wrote another email to my contact and I hope to be able to give you the correct scans in a few hours.

We're moving to Readers Found now. Looking forward to all your stories. Thanks !
