Aysh wrote: June 17th, 2021, 9:10 am Thanks...here are my Standard PL notes:

Section 14: PL OK
Section 15: PL OK...but I was just reading along with the text and at 0:24 - "Mark, chapter vii, verses 11 and 35" differs from "Mark, chapter vii, verses 33 and 35" in the text
Section 16: I'm unable to access the audio for this, could you please check the link again.
Section 17: 0:00 - Starts with "30th" rather than "Sermon 42" but rest is PL OK
Section 18: PL OK

Great work, by the way! I enjoyed listening to your narration.

A new version of section 16 is available now.
Hi,

I've done spot PL for Sections 15 and 17 and everything is good.

Thanks for the Section 16 recording..
0:06 - "by Saint Alphonsus Ligouri. This LibriVox recording is in the public domain." is missing from the intro, but rest is PL OK.

Sermons 11 and 12 are PL OK.

Section 13 PL Notes:
1:40 - "Jerome" for "Jeremiah"
3:31: - "Malachi" for "Maccabees"
I also noted that all the Latin quotations were skipped? I suppose he does give an ENglish paraphrase before each of them.
American Trials Vol. 3 95% 5 left!
Female Scripture Characters by William Jay (1769 - 1853) 93% 2 left!
Devotional Commentary: Apocalypse 85%
Emotions

Changes made. Sorry, I don't have a mic with me, so it sounds ... terrible.

Yes, it's true I skipped all the Latin. It would be nice for those who can understand it, but I think I would butcher the pronunciation so much that it's not a good idea.

I wish I knew you were doing that before the project was near its end. Omitting portions of the main text on account of their not being in English is against our policy. Since there was a miscommunication on this point when it was discussed for the first half of this book, the admin team has agreed to make an exception and accept these two projects as they are, but please be aware that it is really an exception. Future recordings with Latin passages omitted won't be accepted. There are three ways you could handle foreign language parts:

1) Read them the best you can.
2) Ask for help with pronunciation in the thread Pronunciation help: all languages.
3) Post in the Need Help? forum, inviting another reader to contribute those parts.

I'm not sure the corrected file was uploaded?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news about the Latin. It's the bain of my existence at the moment heh. You never know when a large chunk of it is going to spring upon you.

I went ahead and spot-checked #13. It's PL OK.

Please rephrase the part of the books summary that was taken from Wikipedia in your own words. Our summaries should be PD, which Wikipedia articles are not.

Thanks,
Michael

Actually, the information is from Wiki, but I didn't copy it. The part from the preface is straight out of the book. I changed the credit to indicate it was I who summarized it.
