Interesting that the poet uses the Spenserian stanza.

Please can you advise on pronunciation: On p.199, right-hand column, six lines from the bottom. "50,000l" I am vaguely aware of the historic connections between pounds/libra/lira, but I'm not sure if this "l" should be pronounced as pounds or lira. Thanks.

I would go with "pounds". The historic word "libra" has its origin in "pound" anyway and I think that is why it's still written in that abbreviation.

Thanks for checking back though. I'm happy to see you are still on it :) Last section we're waiting for, and I'm looking forward to hearing your narration.

I'm really sorry to bother you again, but I'm struggling with one of the words in the Section.

On p.199, right-hand column, para 5, end of line 11 and again in line 17:
parismony: I do not know this word, and I suspect it is a misspelling of parsimony (which is used correctly later on in the text).

Where it is spelled parismony, would you like me to pronounce it as such, or should I rather pronounce it as parsimony?

Thanks

yes, if it's such an obvious typo, we can safely read the correct word, no worries. So "parsimony" would be correct here.

Thanks for asking ! And I'm happy you're still persevering.

awww what a wonderful story and with a total happy ending :9: I'm a sucker for such stories. And you have narrated it so perfectly and agreeably, it was a real treat. Thank you so much, Ken, and I'm really looking forward to your next story (I remember you've claimed another one I can listen to. )

This final section is now PL ok and I can proceed to catalogue yet another Rover Magazine.

A huge thanks to all the contributors for this issue: Jim, Ken, Alan and Kate  All great readings of great stories (or poems, for that matter).

Will post the link once it's done and dusted.
