By the way, Lector, your problem sounds like a recent post by another reader, but I don't think there has been any solution yet. The posts of that discussion start here: viewtopic.php?p=1910217#p1910217

My first recording. I do hope it is acceptable. Feedback greatly accepted, critical is ok.

Hi Alexis! Welcome here!
You just record your chosen story and if by the time you're ready to post it, this collection is full, a new one should be open (or opening soon), volume 054, and so on. If it's a popular story and more than one people post it in the running collection, the second one will be carried over to the next collection.
Enjoy recording!
PS. Consider doing a test recording before the real one, to check that your recording settings are correct. Here's info on how to do this test https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test

Only good comments! You're a talented narrator!
How would you like to be credited as a Reader in the catalogue? It can be your forum name, or whatever name you'll be using in your recordings for "read by"
I shut my computer down and tried it again yesterday. It worked just fine now. I'm actually done with the recording itself now; I just need to edit. You were right—it was really long. My recordings are about 40 minutes a pop. I'll have them in sometime this week, or if the spots are already filled up, I can add them to the next Ghost and Horror Story Collection (assuming there will be one).Rapunzelina wrote: ↑June 14th, 2021, 2:54 pm By the way, Lector, your problem sounds like a recent post by another reader, but I don't think there has been any solution yet. Great! This is your Reader page: https://librivox.org/reader/16344 which you can also access from your name-link in the Magic Windows. It lists the projects you read for, and can also help you keep track of your sections in ongoing projects, under the Reader Section Details link. Let me know if I got the spelling of your name wrong.

That was amazing, Chad! Thank you for your contribution! The recording is PL OK, so this completes the collection and I'll start the cataloguing process!
