thank you, Lynda for this very quick turn-around. And the section was quite long again And typical vintage Voltaire with a good moral at the end. I loved it.Lmnei wrote: ↑June 21st, 2021, 11:47 amHere is Section 6 -

Hot off Audacity!
I found a few small errors which might profit from correcting:
> at 5:00: (p. 158) "open their eyes with astonishment" – you say "admonishment"
> at 8:21: (p. 159) stumble: "in becoming acquainted with Cicero" – you say "aquinated" and Cicerio"
> at 15:41: (p. 159) "an old abbé say once" – you only say "ab" (understandably, since the accent on the é was missing) but the French word for abbot is "abbé" (pronounced a bit like "abbay")
> at 19:07: (p. 159) "the mother, whose sentiments were less groveling" – you say "still groveling"
> at 24:14: (p. 160) "alas, said the marquis" – you say "said him"
thank you, now we are nearly wrapped with this project as well. Didn't expect such a quick turn-out yesterday.
