Yes, you can contribute with something that has been recorded before! Looking up Yesenin in our catalogue, I see that this is the text source used before: https://archive.org/details/modernrussianpo00yarmgoog if you'd also like to use that. Public Domain safe

Thanks! Mitchell is in the vanguard of poet-physicians, considered the father of medical neurology. He is not talked about enough. His poetry is outstanding.

Hello Nick! Welcome to Librivox and to the Poetry Collection! Thank you for contributing with a De la Mare poem. I am very much impressed with your reading of it. Just one think to fix, as the recording is in stereo, whereas mono is required. Do you use Audacity? If so, open your file in Audacity, and go to menu Tracks -> Mix -> Mix Stereo down to mono. Then export again and re-upload. Hopefully that should fix this one. For future recordings, check your settings at menu Edit -> Preferences, Devices tab, and for Recording Channels choose "1 (Mono)", so that you record in mono. Also when exporting as mp3, check the square that says "Force export to mono".
Hello Arden, and welcome to the Poetry Collection! Thank you for your contribution. Quite a unique poem, as was your delivery of it! Everything PL OK!

Apolologies, Rapunzelina. Not sure how the stereo file slipped in. Here's the mono (hopefully).

Yes, all good now! Thank you, Nick!
Hi Esther! Welcome to Librivox and to the Poetry Collection! Congrats on your first recording and thank you for your contribution!
Just one thing that needs fixing, and that is the volume, which is currently too low. I use the Checker to measure volume. It's currently around 71dB, while target volume is 89dB, with an acceptable range of 86-92. If you're using Audacity, I would suggest a 15dB Amplification (menu Effects - Amplify), and then some Noise Reduction, as the amplification would have also brought up the background noise. Here's some instructions: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Noisecleaning_With_Pics and please ask if something is unclear.
Hello Jade! Welcome to Librivox and to the Poetry Collection! Congrats on your first recording and thank you for your contribution!
Checking the tech specs, bit rate is currently wrong, so if you're using Audacity, open the file in Audacity, and go to Export as mp3. At the options there, make sure "Constant" is checked for Bit Rate Mode, and then "128 kbps" for Quality. Click OK to save the file and Audacity should also save these settings for your future exports.

That's it, Jade! All good now!
And here's your Reader page in the catalogue: https://librivox.org/reader/16144 which you can also access from your name-link in the Magic Window. It lists all projects you read for, and can also help you keep track of your sections in ongoing projects, under the "Reader Section Details" link.

I want to read a selection from this book: https://books.google.com/books?id=eCpCAQAAMAAJ But I'm not sure if the author should be Mark Guy Pearse or Anonymous. It seems that he didn't actually write all of these poems/songs, but only compiled them. Or am I understanding it wrong? What do you think?

Hi Devorah! To me it looks like he's the actual author. That's a nice find! I'm looking forward to your selection!!
