A puzzling, surprising story!
Until the very end there was no hint as to how it would turn out!

Great Job. PL OK!

The April Moment is PL OK.
Sounds like a description of my yard at the moment, absolutely busting out with flowering weeds, wisteria, dandelions, goldenrod, wild lupines, violets, etc., and birds singing everywhere. She left out the pollen coating everything yellow!!!!

Your Volume was right at 92. It passed, but barely. Just mentioning this for future recordings.

I read Marion's Wikipedia page, and am curious of her descriptions of the Mexican landscape. I'll have to look that up someday.

Thanks for the "Heads up!" about the volume. I was trying a new location for my mic: sitting right on the deck of my laptop's keyboard.

Any time you make a change like that, you should run your files through Checker before submitting. Even just a difference in time of day, level of tiredness, etc., can make a big difference in volume, not to mention background noise, all in the same location.

Yes, of course.
But as I was uploading, one of my birds was LOUDLY laying another egg. Distracted me.

A Heads Up! for you: in a little while I'll be uploaded a second item: a poem which is an absolute antithesis to this one. The juxtaposition is delicious.

Uploaded Spring Cleaning by Harry Graham

Book:

Author:

This poem's attitude is the antithesis of my earlier selection "April Moment" and gives the "unseen" consequences of "seen" pleasures of Spring

Spring Cleaning is PL OK. Thanks. Sounds more like house remodeling to me! Something we need to do around here, and I'm not looking forward to it.
