If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

A brief history of the rise and reign of Duke William of Normandy, King of England. Also known as William the Bastard, and William the Great. This book is written in a mostly chronological order concentrating more on the political aspects than the military ones of his rise to the English crown. Written by Edward Freeman, originally in 1888, as part of the Twelve English Statesmen series of books, it provides an easy entry into William’s life and times. (Written by Cavaet)

Craig, I have read the next couple in the series now. The one about Henry II is, meh, so-so, but the one about Edward I is excellent so I think that's the next one, plus the ones about Wolsey, Elizabeth and Cromwell are in my sights. Once this one has been put to bed

Great. Just put my initials after the book title in the subject line of the first post (and/or add a second post) if you would like me to be MC.
