While waiting for the final section to come in for the previous magazine, it's time to launch the next one. I bet some of you were already waiting for it.

Also here, as before, I want to keep this as a one-story-per-reader-project so we can have the maximum of voices in each magazine.

Though claiming is open now, let me point you to our March Challenge (see my signature for details). So if you still have longer outstanding claims, please finish those first, or if you can and want to help bring languishing projects to a close, please give those a priority during March. The Black Cat sections can wait a bit till after the challenge ;) You do have a two-month deadline, as always :)

Thanks

thank you Jean, for taking care of the longest story this time :9: now I know it's in good hands (or rather: voice). Concerning the Fill-out form for the registry on page 20 in this story, please read all the lines as they are on the image. I think they really need to be part of the text.

Thanks !

Could I have Section 2, The Polar Magnet? This would be my first reading and after proofreading this section to myself, I am excited and happy to participate!

hello Rachel, and a warm welcome to our forum and especially to the Black cat magazine. :D So cool to hear a new voice in this project. Quite a few new readers have had their debut in one of the previous issues of this magazine, so I hope it will be a fun experience for you as well.

I see you already passed your test  so I assigned you section 2 officially right away and here is your personal reader page: https://librivox.org/reader/15881 where you can see all your projects listed in which you are participating. With time it will hopefully become a cool portfolio. 8-)

Please read carefully through the first post, where you will find all the information on how to read the intro/outro and how to correctly name the finished mp3 file.

If there are questions still, please don't hesitate to ask :)

Have fun recording. I'm looking forward to hearing your narration.

Hello Books (fitting name  ) and welcome to our forum.

Thank you for your interest in this project, and I can reserve you section 3 for the time being.

However, before you start recording, I would strongly advice to complete a one-minute-test first. This is to check that your technical settings are all up to LV standard.
You can read all about it here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test
Please post the test in the Listeners Wanted forum: viewforum.php?f=21 and someone will check it and give you feedback or advice if needed.

As soon as the test is ok'ed, please post the results back here, and then I can assign you the sections officially. For that I would need to open a personal reader page for you, so please also tell me which reader name you want to go by. Can be the same as the forum name or your real name, or whatever.

For the moment, I will reserve the sections for you for one month, to give you time to sort out the test. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. :)

Good luck with the test !

And that makes us already fully claimed and we move over to readers found.

Now looking forward to listening to this selection :9:

Just spent a few hours on this and was too excited to stop, so I finished it! This was really fun but I know I have a lot of room for improvement, and I am grateful for being able to participate. Here's my name for the catalog: Rachel Diaz
