These 3 chapters are all PL OK. My husband will certainly agree with the authors' sentiments about cats, but not me - for they also help get rid of the plague ridden mice.

One note: chapters 3 and 4 have just over a second of silence at the start. Please be careful of that in future, I am not asking for it to be corrected here unless our wonderful BC would like it corrected.

Thank you for your nice recording - I enjoyed the feeling you injected into parts of it. And you did a great job recording the rhyme. I do have a few comments for you from the PL review. #'s 3 and 5 are informational only.

1. Please add about 0.5 seconds of silence at the start of the recording.
2. At ~0:18 in the recording the title sounds like "child bird" should be "child birds". Please fix and also leave a little silence before you start the first paragraph.
3. There is some clipping in your file at 1:20 and 4:29. You don't need to fix this here, just make sure that you are not allowing clipping when amplifying the recording.
4. The following sentence was left out of the recording: "This would be much better than wishing one could go somewhere, when one hasn't the money to go with, or being unhappy because one hasn't fine clothes and houses." Please insert it ~4:36 after "It will pay any child or grown person to spend a whole summer or autumn in studying them and their ways."
5. There were "plosive" sounds in the recording. See "queer" at ~4:45. There are a couple of things you can try in order to reduce this effect. Try adjusting the microphone so that it is not as close to your mouth. Also setting it at an angle so that you are not blowing directly into it. You might also consider using a pop filter. And, just adjust your reading so that you don't emphasize those plosive sounds as much. No need to correct this recording, but just be aware of this as you go forward. (With thanks to Larry for his input.)
6. Your bit rate is incorrect. It needs to be 128 kb. This can be set when you export your file to mp3.
