Many thanks for your explanation. I might have made a mistake.

Sorry again about your new editions. The Narrator for Act I from MW, which is 36:44, instead of 36:51, is good for PL OK to me.
I guess you want to keep the new version that is linked in MW (36:44), not the new link in this message (36:51). (even though both versions seem perfect to me ^_^)

I also double-checked the other two Acts, lucky that the links in MW and the links in your response messages of this forum are consistent for Act II and for Act III.

Jessie

This 36:51 recording, Narrator for Act I, is perfect for PL OK.

Hi the links automatically update in the MW when you upload the new file as long as it has the same filename. I just like to post them in the thread so PL'ers don't have to go searching for them in the MW. Many thanks for all your help very much appreciated.

The final files are now edited and ready for a final PL if any one is able to do that for me please.

PL note:

Part 2 of Act I is perfect for PL OK.

There are some petty spots in the part one of Act I:
4:55 - 4:56 "C" was not read between "Lucy. Good morning, Mr. Thorsby! " and "Thor. Good morning!"
35:43 missing " (crosses to C.)" between "Dor. I wouldn't say that," and "ma'am; she met you halfway over the salmon."
41:11 missing "(goes R.)" between "Dor. Fancy he went this way. " and "Gandy!"

I apologize for the slow PL that I wished to have done it earlier and also sorry that I failed to spot these missing parts when I was PL-ing on the narrations, thus is causing much more painful extra work for you on the tiny improvements.

Regards,
Jessie

PL note:

I listened to both Act II and Act III. Happy to confirm that they are both PL OK. I am grateful to see this act is so beautifully done!

Jessie

Hi Jessie not a problem at all as I was editing I took the decision to remove some of the stage directions for continuity. I am therefore happy to leave them as they are. Very greatful for you PL ing.
Thank you to everyone that has taken part in this play. I will do the final cast list and sort the MW then this should be ready to go to the catalogue.

Michele, can you confirm please what the status of this project is? I see that the final acts are in the MW and marked Ready for PL, and that you have an advertisement posted for someone to listen to them. But it appears from the thread that someone already has. :hmm: If this is the case, will you please update the status in the MW?

So sorry, Michele, that I let this drop off my radar. It looks like I saw your response before work on a Tuesday morning, then went to work and promptly forgot all about it. I'll get this into the catalogue tomorrow. Here is what I have for the summary.
Caroline is a cook at the vicarage of Rev. Audley Pillenger (run by his sister Hannah). Four men propose to her in one evening. One of them is her ex-husband. He has found out that she is to inherit some money. She hides each of the men in various kitchen cupboards. She also helps Lucy to elope.
I see, however, that what's in the first post is much shorter with less detail. Can you confirm, please, how you would like the summary?

mightyfelix wrote: January 26th, 2021, 6:55 pm Hi Michele! This play looks like fun! I'm happy to MC for you. We might need to clean up the description a little bit. In fact, it looks like a condensed version of what Chris posted in the Play Suggestions forum, and I don't know if he came up with that description himself or if he was quoting it from somewhere else. You may want to check with him to see where the description came from. :hmm: But to be very sure it's PD, it's probably best to write your own. Still, plenty of time for that. I'll get your MW set up.
I re wrote the summary in my own words as we weren't sure about the origin of the original summary. Happy to go with the shorter version if you feel that is enough or do I need to write a little bit more. Thanks
Michele
