Amazing. Thank you.

Rapunzelina,

A wonderful reading. I really like your inflections and your rate of reading.

I did find one small mis-read that I think should be fixed:

15:51 Eva pressed her friend’s hand, but spoke no word You said and I think this does give a slightly different meaning.

A quick fix and I am looking forward to your correction.

Thank you Wayne, your kind words are very encouraging. I enjoy reading aloud immensely. I don't record as much as I would like to because I'm self-conscious about my accent.

Here's hopefully the edited file: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/stormoflondon_10_blazedebury_128kb.mp3

Personally, I love listening to your accent. Once upon a time I was the one with the accent when I was living in England for a few years many years ago. Don't let that bother you. Your English is a lot better than my what ever your native tongue is. If you ever want to read something, just look at my reader page and see what I am DPLing, and see if there is anything there that interests you. :D

Celine,

Well read. There are only three things that I think should be mentioned, and two of them are just kind of British things.

:25 Mrs Archibald entered the library at Selby House, followed by the Earl of Somerville— Inserted 'the' before Selby House. It really shouldn't be there as it isn't the home of the Selbys. This is kind of a British thing.

18:18.5 I don’t myself understand politics, Missed 'myself'. Again, I think it adds to the meaning of the sentence.

18:30 I heard many ladies who came to have tea with your lordship dismiss the whole question with a wave of the hand: Missed 'have'. Again, British, tea is a 'meal'. To 'have tea' could be anytime for any purpose.

Am looking forward to this and more from you.
