Thanks!
Andrew,

Very well read. Kept my interest. You only had one small slip that I think might be worth correcting:

18:28.5 breaking the hearts of these ungentle personages. You added 'in' after 'breaking”. A minor change, but I think it makes a difference.

Thanks for the kind words & quick PL! Here's the updated version:

Time: 24:59 (Unchanged)

I originally recorded this last week, and my voice isn't quite in the same place tonight - hope it's not too noticeable, but if you find it distracting I don't mind giving it another try.

Jane,

Well done. There a very few places that you should go back and look at:

At the beginning, could you please cut the intro silence to between .5 and 1 second?

11:13 against plain facts being handed to me by unimaginative people I heard unimanginable.

15:06 for the invasion of American heiresses upon our Piccadilly shores I hear something like 'haires'.

20:23 we shall have to retreat ignominiously You said ignominisly You did very well on most of the words, even the French ones, but here is help on one of them: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/ignominious

One other small point. Your volume is 91.6, which is within specs for LV, however, since you will be in there anyway, could you drop the volume by maybe 2 dB? I have found it interesting that some readings at 91 'sound' just fine, while others 'sound' loud. Yours happens to be the latter, at least to my ear.

Keep up the good work, and did you see Stav's note on Chapter 14?

I have edited Chapter 12 and I tried to fix the volume in the only way I know how! My checker said that it was at 88.1 dB and I tried to use the Loudness Normalization feature to fix the loud and quiet parts as well.

Here is the Chapter 12 link with the edits and the length is now at 22:11

Also, here is the first recording for Chapter 14 (length) 16:18

Thanks and have a great weekend!!
