Hi Slimzim,
It is no problem. I proof listening Section 13. It is an engaging reading!
There are just 2 updates needed. Please noise clean the file and at 4:25 insert Côtes-du-Nord.
After the changes, please re-upload it when you have a chance.
Thanks!
-Amy
Hi Amy,

Here's the fixed file with the added "Côtes-du-Nord" and noise reduction. Thanks for your patience as I learn the ropes! Let me know what you think of the changes.

Hi,
It is my pleasure. Thanks for updating it. Unfortunately the file is still too quiet. I played around with it and got it up to 87.6 by using the compressor then letting it amplify by 2.8 (audacity's choice), and then hitting repeat amplify. That got around allowing clipping. Please give that a try and resubmit the file. You don't have to rename the file. Whenever a updated file is uploaded, the system renames the first one so you can keep the original file name when you submit the next one.
Thanks,
-Amy

Thank you for your patience! I just uploaded a fresh version, cleaned with Audacity instead of Logic. Let me know what you think!

Hi Kendra,
I prooflistened your section. Great reading!
There are only technical issues that need to be addressed.
-It is too quiet. Please bring it up to @89 db, increase of 4db.
-The bit-rate needs to be 128kbs/
-It needs a constant bit-rate.
If you are interested, here is the forum about checking your own Tech specs. It has a link to "The Checker", which is a great tool to seeing if the technical aspects of your recording are good.

Please make these changes and resubmit the file. There is a typo in your filename so please change it to urania.
Thanks,
-Amy

@alg1001 Amy, thank you for listening and for pointing out the errors. This should be a usable version.
