I will give you a short extension on the last section then (let's say: till 9th March, so you don't have to stress, of course as soon as possible is always welcome)

The two sections are flawlessly PL ok. It's an interesting area of history. And I see in the second section the author wrapped under one heading everything from Eastern Europe to the Far East

I noticed some bird singing got into the recording in the first bit (intro and first sentence or two). It's not too loud but if it's too distracting let me know and I'll re-record.

(It's almost spring here, the birds are getting enthusiastic!)

I like enthusiasm from birds. And no, they're not distracting at all. Perfectly narrated, thank you for the fast turn-around

I just finished House of Mystery, Chapter 20, which took longer than I expected, so I didn't get to 19 and 20, which were on my agenda. So tomorrow, these two are my targets!

And here is Section 20. I even had to pass a second language test, which happened to be Italian, the first French, for my doctorate degree, and both of which I did pass, so how come I couldn't do just about any of this passage. Of course, the tests didn't determine whether I could actually pronounce those languages. We may need to find a native! Or you can just close your ears and just give me a PL ok for effort.

I actually happen to have learnt Italian in highschool

and yes, our teacher made sure we had the correct pronunciation.

I'll let you know if anything is too odd. Will PL tomorrow.

And to all interested....get ready for the final book in the series. If Jim nails his two last sections, then we're nearly down to 10 unfinished sections and I will mostly likely launch Book 15 tomorrow. (in case some people want to camp outside the ticketsellers tonight...

)

two interesting sections, and your Italian is not too bad. I think we can let those names stand as they are. However you missed out to include the original Greek names, if they deviate from the modern names, then I wanted them included (maybe you forgot that I mentioned it before ?)

Section 19:
> at 11:53: (p. 76) "he koine dialektos" – I think you say "or common dialect"

could you please replace it with the original Greek which I transcribed for you here ?
> at 13:34: (p. 77) "a war 315-301 broke out" – I don't hear the first "3" (only "15-301")

Section 20:
> at 9:59: (p. 83) "Hellas he megale" – could you also here please include the Greek ?
> at 11:06: (p. 83) "from regnym" – also here please include actual name instead of saying "from the Greek"

better late than never, and you were still inside your deadline limits, so thank you for that.

And the section is flawlessly narrated, so you made it really easy on me, I only had to listen and discover the historical facts. Straight PL ok.
