Coolidge 1925, part 2 (section 4 overall) is here:

https://librivox.org/uploads/linny/stateoftheunion_1923_1932_04_various_128kb.mp3

Time is 45:30. Linny, I had to guess at a few words (and one place where I simply could not figure out what the original would have said). Let me know, of course, if you disagree with my guesses.

Thanks,

Joanne

Joanne,
You made good word choices. It all worked out well. I think this project was so large for DP that they got a little tired before it was over. There seem to be more typographical errors as we progress. :roll:

35:46 repeat - Nothing in the work of the court has yet been an indication that this is an impairment of its independence or that its practice differs materially from the giving of like opinions under the authority of the constitutions of several of our States.

41:32 word change - These 11 nations, which have already made settlements, represent $6,419,528,641 of the original principal of the loans.
Should be 6 billion, 419 million, 528 thousand, 641 dollars

41:51 word change - The principal sums without interest, still pending, are the debt of France, of $3,340,000,000;
Should be 3 billion, 340 million dollars

The corrected section 3 is here:

https://librivox.org/uploads/linny/stateoftheunion_1923_1932_03_various_128kb.mp3

Time is now 48:27. I'm so sorry, Linny! All those commas!! I've looked ahead at Hoover's (next up for me) and written out the figures in words, hoping not to be so confused!

Thanks much,

Joanne

Given our current debt it's a challenge not to use trillion when speaking about the debt. :wink:

File 3 was uploaded without the changes.
