A problem, though... For some reason I've lost access to the Magic Window. Will you PM me with the procedure again, please?

Try making sure that you are logged out of the uploader. That is usually the problem, but if that doesn't work, let me know!

Audio, video, disco!

OK, I got in. It appears I was trying to use the Uploader login, which doesn't take me to the Window but elsewhere. Hopefully, I'm straightened out now!
So, to recap: #8 is edited, re-uploaded and timing adjusted on MW, #9 is ready for PL.
Now, I add Chapters 10 & 11 - wherein, we learn that politics in the U.S. are always acrimonious, not just this year!

(And the reason two editions for each are there is because I forgot to normalize the gains first! Fixed now!)

That just means the cybersquirrels got into it, too! My copy is good.
So, #8 and #9 are re-uploaded.
And, Chapters 12 & 13 are added!

We move on in our work. Sinking a pit 60 ft across and 900 ft deep by hand takes a whole chapter. The task of constructing 1200 reverberating furnaces takes but a couple sentences. No matter! -The cannon is being cast!
I bring you Chapter 14!

I also bring you Chapter 15... with a slight edit. Either Verne, his translator, or Gutenberg lost track of time in the region 3:05 - 3:15, and I have corrected the notion that the iron could be delivered before it left New York.

Chapter 23 reveals that you have a chance of being eaten on the way! (And what is unsaid is what possible bathroom arrangements are on board!)

By the way, I have created a cover for this book and am only awaiting final timings to publish it.
Also, I know I owe you a summary for the catalog. I'll create one as soon as I see how this all comes out!
