I've recorded the letter "O". Sorry for not claiming first, but I saw it was still free to take and decided to go on.

Since it appears that we're being allowed to record a second section, I've gone ahead and recorded section 12 (letter K).

(Sorrry, no bloopers this time. I guess I'm getting too good at Peter Piper! If you wanted bloopers, you should have heard me trying to say "thrust structure" and "flight phase" over in TriciaG's Challenger Shuttle Accident Report project!)

Well, our current leader JamesJenkins (who guessed 1250), may soon lose the Winner's sash. As we have just passed the middle of the month, we are at 1259. When we reach 1263, the lead will shift up to JayKitty76 (who guessed 1274).

We're likely to have a number of quick lead changes and for-sure losers over the rest of the month as we pass them on the way to somewhere in the low 1300's. Nor looking good for folks at the high end of the guess range either, so get your claims and recordings in now if you wish to do so.

Thanks, Todd

I fully intend to record one of these if I lose, but right now, things are looking good for me, at 1313.

(Even if I win, I'd like to submit a recording for this project, but I'm hoping to earn the right to be the last submission! )

EDIT: Actually, I just had another look at the guesses, and apparently, I chose 1300. :hmm: I wonder why I thought it was 1313, and why I didn't choose that number in actual fact? I still want to hold out as long as I can!

Okay, we are at 1263. Time for JamesJenkins to move aside and for JayKitty76 to (briefly?) be our winner!

Thanks, Todd

Thanks for the play-by-play, Todd! (Somewhere in there is a good description of your usual MO. :hmm: )

This is getting very exciting!

I am glad you like it but I do notice that I have failed to excite you into a contribution yet. You are still holding out hope for the numbers stopping at 1300, eh?

Thanks, Todd

Yes indeed. In which case, I'll still contribute, but I'll enjoy having earned the right to lollygag.

Alas, 7 sections still unclaimed. Some people hoping for luck or a miracle that will prevent them losing. Some people with very valid reasons for not claiming. Some with an urge to do more than one section.

Thanks, Todd
