Hi, Simona! This is a beautiful recording. It only needs one small technical edit.

The front silence is only a quarter of a second, so it needs a little bit added to keep the intro from being cut off when listeners run the chapter. Can you copy and paste some silence from the back so that the front silence is between .5 and 1 second long?
Thanks :)

Let me know what changes I need to make,
Thanks,

Hi, Michelle - The Little Match Girl is very nicely recorded!

It just needs two easy edits:

First, the end silence is currently 9 seconds. It needs to be between 3 and 5, so if you can just highlight about 5 seconds at the very end and delete it, that will be perfect.

Second, we need to bring the decibels below the upper limit, which is 92 (this audio is sitting at 93.8)

If you're using Audacity, open the audio file and do Control-A to highlight the entire track. In the drop down menu for Effect, choose "Amplify." Type -2 in the top box (ignore the other boxes), and click OK.

Now you can re-export to a new mp3 file and upload that one the same way you did the first time. :)

Thanks! This is a terrific addition to the collection. 8-)

The Ghost of Wahaula Temple

Your Wahaula Temple story is PL OK

Very nice recording.

To note for future recordings: The silences at the beginning and end are just a smidge longer than the parameters - not enough to worry about editing here, but just to watch for subsequent files. :)

Also, you're certainly welcome to do the Calle de Quemada story! I'll put that in a section for you.

Hi, there! Hope all is well for you.

This project is filling up, so I'm opening up the reserved section. I run this collection continuously, starting another one when this is finished, so you will be most welcome to contribute this story in collection 6 if the current collection does not have an opening when you're back and have done the 1-Minute test. I'll watch for you. :)

Hi,

If possible I would like to claim Orpheus from A Book of Myths by Jean Lang.

I am without internet at the moment. Not sure for how long.

Hi, Annie! Welcome to LibriVox :)

Another reader has just barely submitted that story in Collection 4. Per LibriVox policy, you are still welcome to record Orpheus for this collection, but I wanted you to know it would be a duplicate.

Let me know if you still want to do Orpheus, or if you would like to do another story. I'll reserve a section for you for a few days, pending a "real" assignation. :)

Thanks for letting me know. I wouldn't want to repeat Orpheus so soon, so I'll change my story to The Mirror of Matsyama from Japanses Fairy Tales.

Thanks!
