No, it's up for grabs, and it's yours! Thanks for claiming!BrizeCrize wrote: ↑March 11th, 2021, 5:31 pm I see section 30 appears to be open, and the final open section too! I like sliding in just under the wire, so please sign me up. Sounds interesting!
Thanks,

P.s. Unless you're going for continuity of voice or something, of course, which I will understand.

Section 28, PL OK! Thanks much for all the help in this project, Roger!RSerling wrote: ↑March 9th, 2021, 9:43 pm Hello Leni,
I've completed Section 28, with a total duration of 31' 31". Here's the link: https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/publicorations_28_demosthenes_128kb.mp3. As a first project, Demosthenes has been a splendid introduction to the platform. However, I think this will be my final contribution to this project; time for some new voices. Thanks for MCing and PLing!
Best,
Leni

I thought I was so close to finishing my first piece. Unfortunately I did not read the help section before starting where it said to do the entire thing in one sitting as opposed to doing inserts over mistakes after the fact. So of course I did inserts after the fact and the sound difference is horrific. So I will have to start over. Blech! Live and learn, people, live and learn.....

My edits are obvious too. Some of these sections are too long to do in one sitting, let alone edit in one sitting. Plus, if you get proof-listening notes, you'll need to edit after the fact anyway. What we can try is to keep recording setup as similar as possible (microphone placement, etc) and when replacing words, sometimes replacing the whole sentence might sound better that replacing just the one word.
