Apologies! I was chatting with the reader of another book for which I'm DPL and that takes place in the desert. The story is also not dramatic but has other redeeming qualities :D .
So we're at the very end?

I almost announced good news when I went to the MW and discovered that we've many chapters to go. Only to read a message a little further on that this book only goes to 1881 :(

Right!!
It was aa shock to me too.
SOMEWHERE...the Diary continues....but for now, I think I'll let it rest.

MEANWHILE, Section 24 is missing page 318, which I will send to you (along with any others that are missing) when I finish the section.

I've asked for help to find a Latin speaker for sections 14, 16 and 17!

Thanks for sending me the missing pages, I received the ones you sent already. I hope you'll find a Latin speaker ! What's your fallback option?

well...you'll pick up any errors, I'm sure!! :-)

Section 24 and 25 are done!! (Parts 1 and 2 of the last chapter "1781")

We can dump all the sections after that since there are no more years in THIS diary.

I don't know where the other years are (and, at this point, I'm not too interested in finding them!!)

Now you disappoint me! No more detailed accountings of menus and expenses? I was surprised that he didn't write more about the parish.
What will we read next ?

I hope the power outage didn't last too long and that you're not heating only with electricity!
