I have a request for a couple of edits if you are able to.

The first thing is the opening and closing words; we are using a shortened form of the disclaimer because it is a poetry project, so it would be:

• At the beginning of the recording, leave no more than one second of silence and read the abbreviated "LibriVox disclaimer":
"[Poem title], by [author], read for LibriVox dot org by [your name]"
• Then read the poem.
• At the end, say: "End of poem. This recording is in the public domain." and leave five seconds of silence.

Then when exporting, use only lower-case letters for the file-names.

The other thing is the tech specs of the first file "To My Dear and Loving Husband" (the rest are fine, so I assume you'll be able to fix this one too, but if you need help let me know ) It should be in mono, at 128 kbps constant (it's currently stereo, variable ~109kbps) and it has 30 seconds of silence at the beginning.


That's it! The reading itself is beautiful! I'm glad you've joined us here!

I re-recording the intro and extro for the poems. I fixed the extra silence and saved from stereo to mono.

I would guess the computer tried to overwrite the existing files, so it couldn't replace the filenames, or something like that. No problem though, I will rename during cataloguing, which I will start prepping for now
