Hello!

I would like to contribute to this wonderful furry collection with the following reading (if possible):

Title: About two dogs I knew
Author: Unknown
Published: Stories of History, 1891 & Victorian Times, April 2019 (pages 43-46)
Link to the text:https://www.victorianvoices.net/ARTICLES/VT/2019/1904-Dogs.pdf

I'm relatively new to LibriVox but already recieved my OK approval on my 1 minute test  . Since this is my first recording I would like to have Nora as my pseudonym.

Please let me know if it would be an acceptable addition to the collection or if you need me to post any aditional information

Hi, This is going to be my first recording. I have already done the 1 minute test and am ready to go. I want to do the chapter The Tables Turned (Pussy and Doggy Tales). I think I would to use WLee for the catalog name.

Thank you,
Wendy

Hi, Wendy and welcome to the project. Your 1-minute test sounds good. If you look in the First Post on Page 1 of this project, you will see a list of what you need to submit here:

Please post in this thread:
The link from the uploader, followed by file length in mm:ss
The title of the story
The author of the story with birth and death dates if available. Translator's birth and death dates if applicable.
Link to the online text.

Be sure your text in in the Public Domain, then go ahead and record your story, edit, and upload. Be sure to name your file according to what is showing in the First Post. If you aren't sure your story is PD, post a link here and I'll help you check that out. Best do that first before anything else.

Matchless Match, the homing dog, is PL OK. Thanks for sharing.

If you can find a couple of longer stories let me know. One for me, one for you? It will help the collection

There are a couple of dog stories in this book:

https://archive.org/details/cu31924021994888

They are “Hector”, “Mr Chedby on a Nuisance” and “Suburban Dogs”.

I have a couple more newspaper stories but they are short.

Perhaps our MC can provide Therese-Marie with her login credentials? And I'll need the link to the source text you read from, along with your recording.

Without an email address, we can’t be sure. Please don’t publish email addresses in the forum, though 8-) That said, we have a new member ThereseMarie. Is that her? If so, she should use that forum name and “forgot password”. If she still can’t get in, email the Newbie Inbox and Maria will help her out.
