Checker shows the background noise level at 50 dB or so, Noise Reduction would help.

Welcome to LibriVox Noori, good first reading. However there are a couple of tech items to fix...
- the volume is a bit low at 86.6 dB, you should aim for your waveforms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this:

Image

You can check your volume using our Checker program - see info at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker You will find the volume in decibels on the Information tab. For your information, we look for around 89 dB (87-91 is OK) (all the other tech specs are there also)
- be aware of the silences... Between 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning of the recording and Please leave 5 seconds of silence at the end of your recording.
- there is a Background noise level of 59 dB, this can be reduced with Effect/Noise Reduction in Audacity.
* there are a bunch of instructional videos here, use the index to find the items listed above.

*Please let me know under what name would you like to appear in the LV catalog and if you have one, we can put your personal URL link on your catalog page too.
You can view your brand new LV Catalog page by clicking your forum name in the Magic Window.

Welcome to LibriVox Nayeer :D good first reading...
however at 0:11, I hear "Sure there was such a sunset shone as this," the text reads "Sure never such a sunset shone as this,"
and at 1:07 I hear Surely the star of the evening never shone" the text reads "Surely the star of evening never shone"
Could you correct and upload please? (using the same filename)
