Since our DPL had been away with relief efforts for the Oregon fires, and has a lot to catch up on, I'm filling in.

Just one technical correction needed. All LibriVox recording must be in mono, but this is a stereo file.
I don't know what recording program you are using, but there should be an option for converting this to mono.
Upload again under the same file name and post the link here again.

GB is a real stinker to get the mono/stereo thing right. I've heard rumours that the most recent version(s) of GB make it nearly impossible to make files mono.

This is one reason we like folks to do the 1-minute test: to iron out these wrinkles ahead of time.

Can you record in Audacity instead of GarageBand? That would do much to solve the perpetual mono vs. stereo problem...
