Section 3 has a number of smaller errors (the/that, on/upon, lightens/enlightens, etc.) and a few errors that diverge more materially from the text:

:15 And the light shineth in <the> darkness
:46 every fool is blind (not blinded)
12:11 prophetical choir (not chair)
16:17 he had not had to be enlightened (not illuminated)
18:25 is said here to be a light
23:37 that that (not the) life is spiritual

In addition, there are 6 seconds of silence at the end--need to cut it back to about 5.

Since there are other changes to make I would note the ending silence. If it was the only change I likely would let 6 seconds go.

Typically, I'll note if the ending silence falls outside of the 4.5-6 second range. Opening silence of more than 1.5 seconds. The silence requested is more of an approximate than an exact. Less than 4.5 seconds of ending silence and the recording runs a risk of being cut off during playback. Longer than 6 and the listener has a really long gap between sections. On poetry and very short sections I tend to be tighter on the ranges.

There's a lot to the PL thing. :hmm: I guess I've been doing it for so long I hadn't really considered that.

Thank you again for helping with this project.

Tricia organized a podcast on proof listening you might find interesting. We had fun (I assembled the blooper reel). viewtopic.php?f=22&t=72211

OK changes made... although I was confused by the reported problem at 23:37 since the audio is only 18:35 long.

Section 4 has a few substantive errors:

6:27 his peculiar (not particular) people
9:02 the (not and) giving of grace
9:18 Is it (not It is) because
10:58 the other <ought> to obey
19:19 as that, as by (not being) His own act'

Otherwise, okay.

Section 4 appears in the table of contents as covering verses 10-13, but actually includes the first phrase of verse 14. I'm sorry I didn't catch this in PLing section 4 the first time around. The table and the intro and outro of section 4 will need to be changed, or else append the discussion of verse 14 to the start of section 5. Otherwise PL OK as corrected.

A few substantive errors in section 5:

1:00 in that the Word was made flesh
1:21 by the humanity of the (not his) flesh
5:08 you may with propriety pronounce (not announce)
6:29 Other Evangelists refer (not Another Evangelist refers)
7:15 that this one was (not that this was one of)
8:11 the humility (not humanity) of his garb
8:51 for the work (not world) of preaching
9:44 must be taken (not we must take)
15:28 for what was to be (not what should be) accomplished
20:02 add Gregory as narrator
23:28 its peculiar (not particular) force

Section 6 has the following:

4:29 by blandishments (not blastizements)
8:33 conjecturing (not conjuring) what their question meant
9:52 some were not unacquainted with the fact
10:45 they did not however apply this name to Christ
12:43 understand from the loudness of the sound (not the voice), the vastness of the thing spoken of
13:00 he bears the consolatory (not conciliatory) tidings
15:55 when perversely (not perseveringly) questioned
17:46 He was <not> in the midst of them
19:26 line missing: Whom ye knew not. For though expecting Christ's coming
20:15 when Christ calls us after Him
20:25 used to intimate (not imitate) what should follow
22:22 John <did> then very properly pronounced (not announced) himself worthy
24:19 only recently happened (not happening)

Section 7 has the following significant differences from the text:

3:46 of which David (not Adam) sings
5:51 punishes it by the sharpest discipline (not decline)
6:42 For He did not then only take it away when He suffered
6:53 but by (not that) ever washing it
8:42 he here points Him out to the persons
11:45 he would not have collected such numbers (not members)
17:56 a peculiar (not particular) sign of Christ
19:42 not of the time (not need) of his baptism
20:17 Was this (not This was) the first revelation
20:33 for before Christ (not John) came to the river
23:12 the sight was not visible to all (not at all)
