The Influence of Monarchs by Frederick Adams Woods (1873 - 1939).

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/the-influence-of-monarchs-by-frederick-adams-woods/

Frederick Adams Woods presents compelling evidence to support the great man theory of history and his own category scientific inquiry known as historiometry, or the study of history. In this work, the summarised history of fourteen European nations that have achieved renown at some point in their recorded timeline is compared to the biography of their monarchs and demonstrates the strong link between the intellect and willpower of the supreme leadership and the condition of their country. ( Leon Harvey)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): https://archive.org/details/cu31924026368120/mode/2up
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

OK, your MW is ready for you! We will wait here a day or two to see if we can pick up a DPL, unless you have someone in mind already.

I seem to have forgotten about the preface chapter which should be section 00 on the list. I cant seem to do it on my own, but can someone just add that extra section?

Sections 00, 06 and 07 are PL OK! Section 5 has at the end, both "End of section 5" and "End of Chapter 5." Whichever one needs to be cut is the one!
