Maybe it was just something wrong with my system (esp. no surprise given all the gremlins I'm fighting now). What was happening was that the end of the recording of section 3 was actually bleeding into, and overlapping into the next section without a pause, since I have iTunes set to automatically go on to the next section (or song). I need to get to my other computer to double-check what happens if I take that setting off, but it sounds like everything has been fixed that needed to be, and the rest was just me!

You've been a champ in getting this reading done; now I'll get to proof-listening for you!

Susan, I really appreciate your proof-listening. I HATE proof-listening to myself. I make a lot of mistakes and I catch most of them, but rarely do I catch them all. Thank you!

That's the great thing about LibriVox--there's something for everyone! I love proof-listening, esp. being a dedicated PL'er on a project. It's great to follow the project all the way through.

Thanks to you for all of your good reading and for submitting it in such great shape!

BTW--the problem at the end of Sec. 3 seems to have been with my computer and iTunes. When I listened again, it played until the end. Yeah!!

Sections 6 through 16 are ready to go, subject to the following:

Sibella: In Section 15, at 7:50-7:59, the text: “ . . . nor will they be within a vortex" is repeated. Probably could be easily edited out, but it also can stay in, particularly since there is no resulting difficulty understanding the text’s meaning. It's your call.

Excellent work!

Sibella and Heart of Texas,

Thank you both for all of the work you are putting in to this project!

My home internet is down, and will not be repaired till early next week (it's a monopoly), so I won't be able to visit on the weekend.

Keep up the great work,

TTM

Sections 16-19 are ready.

Sibella: In Section 20, at about 27:42-47 there is a text repeat of "if we expect it will have any sincere attachments to simple and frugal . . . " You may or may not want to edit that out.
Nice job on the "Federal Farmer."

TTM: Sections 22, 23, 25, 27-29, and 33 are in great shape, also.

Good reading, y'all.
