M & Penguin:

https://librivox.org/uploads/annise/blackerchiefdick_04_allingham_128kb.mp3 ready for PL.

Sorry it took so long; my Audacity updated in the middle of editing.

Wow, the group has taken off!

Has it occurred to anyone else that William Goldman must have been influenced by this book, when writing Princess Bride?

It is in the MW for PL. Thank you for taking on that long chapter.

I'll have to look at this book closer with Goldman's book in mind.

Thanks for the chapter,

It was not an onerous task. I already had the tune for "Pretty Poll."

When chapter 4 is declared clean, I'll gladly prepare another for you.

Nicely done on this chapter, as always! Just one small technical issue to fix:

At 14:46: The chant of "More bones! More bones!" from later in the chapter appears to be copied here, making it hard to hear the narration. That should probably be removed.

Everything sounds great otherwise!

This is concerning; the additional tracks seem to have been all messed up after my usual noise filtering macro. I don't think I like the updated version of Audacity.

Will get back to you.

Penguin,

https://librivox.org/uploads/annise/blackerchiefdick_04_allingham_128kb.mp3 new upload.

Additional voice tracks now where they belong, at 13:12 and 27:59.

I moved back one version and applied all my filters without the macro, to each track individually.

I was half expecting Audacity to randomly add an additional track from another random file, but luckily it did not!

Chapter 16 is PL OK!
