thank you David, well done and all PL ok. I especially liked the heart-felt disappointed voice when you said "Missed"

Todd I just saw that Marple is in the MW  completely missed him as you didn't seem to post a note here. Well checked him now and he is PL ok. A bit of a cagey world-weary guy  I think there was not much love lost between the two brothers. But a memorable characterization  I like it. Thank you

Sorry about that. I did roles in too many plays yesterday to keep them straight. At least I didn't post a message but forget to do the filenames!

Thanks, Todd

 you are so right, when you did the first weeping, some tears were welling up in my eyes as well (I am over-sensitive to such emotions). An awesome job you did here in this final act. I'm so glad you took this role, which was not an easy one. This will all sound so great once assembled.

If I may, I would suggest one correction though. I have the impression you misunderstood the last-but-one-scene, because you delivered your speech again very tearfully, which strikes me out of character for what is going on emotionally in Dan'l at this point.

In my opinion, Dan'l is VERY angry with Sir Jasper here, because he realizes that in fact HE, not Jasper, is really the father of Dorothy (and Jasper didn't tell him and he was the guy who ruined his life in the first place) and that Jasper is somehow the reason why Dorothy's mother died in sorrow. So instead of weeping, I think this speech from 12:32 till 12:52 (p. 148) "Stay ! come back" ... till "thy cursed life for hers", should be acted out with thundering rage, or barely suppressed anger. After that, Dorothy pleads for Sir Jasper and calms Dan'l down again, so the final speech is in excellent character again.

Other than that, all perfect !

Thank you so much

Thank you, Sonia, for your kind words and attention to the emotional context. Yes, this line makes a lot more sense with anger predominating. I don't do "barely suppressed", so here it is:

YESSSS !!!! this is it. This is exactly what I wanted to coax out of you. Oh I wouldn't have wanted to be Sir Jasper at that moment. Dorothy is brave to throw herself between those two. 8-)

Totally PL ok now. Thank you, Adrian. Great performance. Now you can calm down again....

oh how lovely :9: Dorothy is such a sweet, gentle girl, and you played her brilliantly. Loved all the emotions you put in. There will be some tear-shedding over this play, I can tell. 8-)

Excellent job, Jenn ! All PL ok. Thank you so much
