I would like to read Sections 1+2 if that works for everyone.
(Full disclosure I am pretty new and I've only read one story so far but I would enjoy the challenge if I'm an acceptable candidate) :D

I'm OK with it, as long as you don't take a full 2 months to do it. ;) Orphaned sections generally are in projects close to completion, so a quicker turnaround than usual is appreciated. :) (I'm probably going to orphan a couple more sections in this project, so it's not QUITE as time-sensitive as it could be, but a quicker turnaround is always nice on an orphan.)

I've put you in. Thanks!

Here's Section 1! Section 2 coming soon

Strength of the Strong by Jack London Section 1

Time: (19:05)

P.S. Let me know if there's stuff I should edit. I ended up including the epigraph, stating "Epigraph:" and then reading it, but I can take it out (:

Section 1 PL OK!

Most people don't say "epigram", but it works just fine that way, so don't worry about changing it.

I did hear a couple plosives (breaths that hit the mic directly while speaking), but they were less frequent later on. Just watch your mic placement so that your breath doesn't hit the mic directly, and you should be fine. :)

Hi Tricia. I'm interested in taking sections 5 & 6.

My screen name is from one of the stories read to my children quite often, "Too Many Daves" by Dr. Seuss. My kids are grown, so now I read to everyone and no one.
