Thanks to all the MC's who exhibit patience as we newbies climb thin tendrils up the steep cliffs. My admiration grows and grows.
Your effort is also admirable! Collections are difficult! Maybe a few steps behind the dramatic works, which are more complicated. I guess the difficulty prize goes to a "collection of dramatic works"

Hi Erin!

Just noticed that your filenames are numbered 207 instead of 206  This happened last month as well (206 instead of 205), so it could happen again next month, that's why I'm mentioning it. You are one collection ahead of the rest of us :D No worries, I can fix the filenames at cataloguing

O good heavens, I'm sorry! Thank you for catching that - you're on top of things!

I actually recorded these in March and just kept being tempted by new shiny objects, and put off uploading these from one collection to the next. This month I decided to send them in or they'd just end up cluttering up my LV folder forever. I have more poems than I can fit into each month. But I got the numbers wrong!
Off LV 25-28 March.

Rapunzelina -

For my last two contributions, I added these two short poems by the Sufi poet Rumi (I think that's how he's listed in the Librivox catalogue):

Title: “Pain is a Treasure” from the Masnavi of Jalāl ad-Dīn ar-Rūmī (1207-1273) translated by E. H. Whinfield as cited by F. Hadland Davis

Title: “Behold the Water of Waters!” from the Masnavi of Jalāl ad-Dīn ar-Rūmī (1207-1273) translated by E. H. Whinfield as cited by F. Hadland Davis
Duration: 1:22

Hi Simone! Welcome to the Poetry Collection!
Lovely choice of a poem for first recording! Thank you for offering it here. One optional comment: I am using headphones and I get some faint background noise for which I would apply Noise Reduction. What do you think?

By the way, here's your Reader Page in the catalogue: https://librivox.org/reader/14640 :D It lists all projects you read for, and can also help you keep track of your sections in ongoing projects under the link Reader section details
