COMPLETE Short Poetry Collection 206 - rap
Hanhnemann lived from 1755 -1843, so it is in the public domain.
I'm afraid the only place I found the text is in a the PDF of a book. Here it is:

Thank you for the link!
For USA copyright laws, what matters is the publication date.
And for European copyright laws, where the author's death date is what matters, for translations, the translator's death date also matters.
For Librivox, we follow the US copyright laws, so we look for texts now published more than 95 years ago, which this year means before 1925. So unfortunately we can't include this specific poem in the collection

Magic Window updated with the latest contributions!
Thank you, Sonia, Larry, (thank you for your kind words!)
Craig, (no worries, I couldn't find dates for George Runde Jackson, either)
Layabanoor, M, (I hope to see you both again in next month's collection!)
Daniel, and Bruce!
Just one PL note for Daniel, for the Third Ode of ‘Amr Son of Qami’ah. You have used the full Librivox disclaimer. Could you change intro/outro as in first post, mainly for consistency within the collection? Thank you

I changed that and reuploaded it. This changed the time to 3:47. Here's the link to the revised version: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/spc206_thirdodeamrbinqamiah_dwd_128kb.mp3Rapunzelina wrote: ↑July 7th, 2020, 10:54 am

Thank you, Daniel!
I have linked the poem to Amr Son of Qami’ah (Amr ibn Qami’ah) since you might be doing more from him, so it's nice to have him in the catalogue

Is 4:30 minutes a short poem? Or is there a long poetry collection I should look into?

I remember when you first started contributing to the poetry collection, when I went to add you to the Magic Window, there came up like 3 names to choose yours from. Now there are more than 10! Thank you for your continued contribution! See you next month!
