When I am reading this section, I realize that p. 390 and 391 are missing in the text source that I have originally supplied; those two missing pages could be found in the alternate text of <https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.210313>. I think therefore that we have to change the text source for this project. Can I do it myself or if Ann may help to make the change?

The link needs to go on the Project page of the MW, which is not accessible to you. I will take of it right now, thank you for letting me know!DavidReader wrote: ↑February 24th, 2021, 10:10 pm This is section 34 for PL, thanks:

Section 38 is PL OK! That was a side of the Great War that I was not familiar with. Mostly new information for me.

Oddly enough, I find chapter 18 the easiest to follow when compared to other chapters. Since like many of us, I think the author did not have an intimate knowledge on the various regions described in the chapter, he could only describe them in a broader stroke, making the narration easier to follow. On the contrary, especially the description of the Western front, which the author must have a deeper and more intimate knowledge, the narration became more complicated. Of course, the fact that I am living on the other side of the European continent also adds to my confusion.

Section 39 is PL OK! Very strong and poetic last sentence.
