Here's one translated from Polish:

Title: In Autumn
Author: Wacław Sieroszewski (1858-1945)
Duration 34:05
Translator: Else C. M. Benecke (1873-1917)
Source: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/35456/35456-h/35456-h.htm#Page_137
Uploader link: https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/ss089_inautumn_pn81_128kb.mp3

The author was a very interesting character, by the way. To quote the translator of the collection "during the fifteen years spent in Siberia as a political exile, he made a study of some of the native tribes, especially the Yakut and Tungus, and has written a great deal on this subject." Talk about making a lemonade when life throws you lemons.
Thank you

Section 7 "Marriage of Heaven and Hell" PL note: This is not a short story. Try short-nonfiction.
The title you have given is a book, so be sure to specify what portion of the book you are reading.

Section 8 "In Autumn" PL OK
I have wondered how to pronounce that name. Not that I could repeat it. I love his stories.

Good evening -

I uploaded the following:

Title: The Father’s Hand by George Humphrey
Text URL: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/39635/39635-h/39635-h.html#the-fathers-hand
Duration: 11:56
MP3 URL: https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/ss089_fathershand_dwd_128kb.mp3

I tried to find some information on the author (birth and death date), but was not successful. I did find another person's website online, who had also run into a deadend.

Hi:

Cheryl, there are a couple of typos in the original. I read them the way they are printed, but it is obvious, in one case, that when "he" left, and she exits....

Anyway. Thanks for your patients
