If accepted, this will be my first librivox recording. I think I have figured out how to use Audacity for this.
Welcome polaris !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Chapter 12 is yours. Just give us a holler if you have any problems with audacity, I'm sure you'll be okay, it seems as if you have checked it all out :)

Hi

Can I claim chapter 13? It will be my first one. Can't wait to get started, and I love this book.

Welcome, I will put you down for this chapter. If you need help on any anything I'm only too willing to assist. The Newbie Guide to Recording has all the information if you not quite sure. http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi/NewbieGuideToRecording

14 & 15 are done.

The computer fan noise is somewhat more prominent than I'd like, but I've never had success in removing it without damaging the voice, so it will have to stay.

Hope you enjoy the readings; I certainly had a good time recording them. It's tempting to continue, but I'll let someone else have a chance next.

Hi,

First post here, but I've been perusing the boards for awhile, and I've done a little voice recording with Audacity in the past.

I'd like to start with Chapters 22 + 23, if still available. Shouldn't take me too long.

Thanks,
Chris
