Hi, this is my first reading attempt:
https://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/sleep_dickinson_hk_128kb.mp3
It is 56 s long. I would like my name to appear as Helen Ko
Thanks and have a great day
Welcome to LibriVox Helen, good first reading. :D
My only comment is that there are a few 'plosives (breath noise hitting the mic) especially on the p and t sounds, try angling away from the mic a bit.

Thanks for the feedback! You can list me as Ray Levias. Also, I'm not sure if my recording was too low but I'll check. Your had a second response to me under someone else's input so I'm not sure if that was for someone else or the response was just split by the other person's message. I'm listed as saivel but recorded as Ray. Again, thanks for the feedback!

Hello everyone!
This is my first reading! Please give feedback, and here it is!
https://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/sleep_dickinson_pg_128kb.mp3
Welcome to LibriVox saivel :D good first reading, however the volume is low at 85.4 dB, you should aim for your waveforms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this:

Image

You can check your volume using our Checker program - see info at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker You will find the volume in decibels on the Information tab. For your information, we look for around 89 dB (87-91 is OK)

*Please let me know under what name would you like to appear in the LV catalog and if you have one, we can put your personal URL link on your catalog page too.
You can view your brand new LV Catalog page by clicking your forum name in the Magic Window.
Thank you! I have downloaded the checker program, and it is very helpful. Here is a revised version. The program says that this audio is 89.3 dBs.

Also, I would really appreciate having InsPri as the catalog name. Thanks!

Thank you for the feedback :) Shall I re-upload? I would be delighted to have my name be jsmollin in the LV catalog. Thank you so much!
Tes, please upload an edited version, use the same filename. 'jsmollin' is down as your LV Catalog name.
It should be all fixed :)
