I’m also interested in Ladybird as a solo book project - at some point. When you have a moment please let me know how would I proceed with this.

Awww...Nice story. I liked the ending. I don't think I'm authorized to change the MW to read "see PL notes", but I'm sure you'll see these here. I noticed a few discrepancies between the recording and the text, but nothing jarring:

05:40 - “on all sides praise of this distinguished traveller.” - You said, “of this distinguished character.”

06:48 - “”and then he pictured how cheerless they would look, and how little of comfort they contained.” - You said, “how little comfort”

1:29 - “her brougham drawn up in the drive not twenty yards from their old meeting-place.” - You said, “the drive and not…”

12:23 - “The branch parted and the stem flew back to its place again…” You said, “…in its place again.”

Thank you Daniel, for this excellent PL reporting style. I appreciate it. I hope you'll help us out a lot more!

Only the BC, MC, and DPL can access the MW. The DPL still needs someone to PL their sections, like you did for me here.

One thing to keep in mind is that edits often stand out like sore thumbs (so I tend not to cite minor items that make no appreciable difference to the story, the rhythm of the phrase, or the meaning of the sentence.) Edts are also a pain in the neck for most readers to do, and they take a lot of time. Thus, LV policy doesn't strive for "word perfect" unless it is a poem, a classic, a legal document, or unless the soloist insists upon it -- which a few do.

A litmus test on what to cite on most works: if someone isn't following along with the text (which no one will ever likely do but the PL'er or maybe a student struggling through an assigned text), would the error be noticeable?

In the cases you cited on this little story, my answer would be no. Had I said HE where I should have said SHE (which I did, but fixed it), you would certainly cite that. But always use your own judgment. Better to cite and have the reader decline to repair it, than to leave some jarring thing standing.

Have you downloaded Checker yet? If not, download here. PL'ers should bring each file they review into Checker, which verifies the tech specs and cites any errors. This is especially important when PL'ing newer readers -- who may not be checking their own files this way.

All that considered, sometimes I do ask for SPECIAL rather than STANDARD pl'ing on my projects, and I hope I can call upon you.
