Would *The Lady of Shalott* be an acceptable selection for this collection?

We can't use Amazon Kindle book texts, but I found the PD book at Internet Archive, and I can use this link:

I look forward to listening soon and hope it's the same.

Thank you for clarifying that and finding correct text - Pyle is definitely in the public domain - I read this story when I was a kid and it made an life-long impression :D
So happy to be able to participate!

This is the source for the DH Lawrence story I'd like to record - this is OK, yes?
Thanks,
Linda

Yes, good link. Good story, just so it is no more than an hour long, or if it is, divide it in two sections. I read it just recently (but didn't record it).
TIP: you are allowed 3 sections (not stories) per collection.

PL NOTES:

The Princess Golden Hair and the Great Black Raven
Please include "Love Stories Volume 3" in your Intro, per INTRO Instructions in the First Post
Volume checks out at 92.2dB's, higher than LV's limit of 92. Please de-amplify a few dB's. (in Audacity, go Effects/Amplify/-2 or -3.) I don't know about other programs.
All else is good. Gotta watch out for them ravens!

I wanted to contribute something a little more historical to this collection, namely: a song about love.

Sorry I missed this one, Chad. I've PL'd it at last, and it needs the shortened disclaimer added at the end. All else is OK.

Question:
In the MW in the Notes column I see this several times "ma". What does this signify, please?

It's a note to the MC that I have added the meta data. That is how the author's name and etext link appears next to each story in all our individual story collections.
