Welcome to LibriVox Paul :D good first reading, however, the bitrate is 121 kbps (variable) and we need 128 kbps (constant), there is also an extra 'k' in the filename. (always best to copy the filename provided in the opening post into the LV Uploader, inserting your initials of course.)

*Please let me know under what name would you like to appear in the LV catalog and if you have one, we can put your personal URL link on your catalog page too.
You can view your brand new LV Catalog page by clicking your forum name in the Magic Window.

Welcome to LibriVox Kerenza :D good first reading, but there are a couple of technical items to correct...
- the bitrate needs to be 128 kbps (constant), your file is 99 kbps (variable). We need this for cataloging purposes. The bitrate can be set when you export/save in Audacity, there are the Format Options at the bottom of the Export Box.
- the volume is low at 83.2 dB You should aim for your waveforms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this:

You can check your volume using our Checker program - see info at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker You will find the volume in decibels on the Information tab. For your information, we look for around 89 dB (87-91 is OK)
*I've corrected your file to start cataloging this morning.

**Please let me know under what name would you like to appear in the LV catalog and if you have one, we can put your personal URL link on your catalog page too.

I think I have it right now, thank you for reminding me of the checker. The name I would like to appear under is Kerenza, and I don't need a personal URL. Thanks!
