Uploaded Kangaroo section 35 - Kangaroo is killed Part 1
https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/kangaroo_35_lawrence_128kb.mp3 34:52
First a hospital bedside visit to the wounded Kangaroo then a long, long section of Somer's inner thoughts about Love and God(s) which many editors should have had mercy on us readers and shortened by 50%
Real action resumes in Part 2.

My apologies about the incorrect file names.
I've renamed and reuploaded Section 29 and 30 with links below.
(I'd also uploaded Section 18 on August 4).

My weekend is going to be a wall-to-wall session of PLing!
I just finished recording sections 36 and 36 "Kangaroo is killed" and I dread doing my own pre-upload PLing. DHL's prose in this chapter (both sections) leaves me cold and uninspired. Maybe better put: leaves me cold and lapsing into a coma. But, maybe it's just me.
I'll PL all three of your sections this weekend. Thank you again.

Have a great weekend. Lisa
Lisa, in both of these sections there is a great deal of air/percussive noise. I expect that your mic is positioned too close to your lips. DO NOT re-record these sections, but in the future, position your mic so that you are talking ACROSS the mic and not directly into it and position it a bit further away, OR make or buy a "Pop Guard or Pop Filter". Michele Fry (msfry) just slips a piece of nylon hosiery toe on her mic and gets great results. These air/percussive noises don't prevent your words from being understood, but they are a damned nuisance (IMHO) and lessen the otherwise superior quality of your recordings.
Section 29
========
Too much lead-in silence. Should be .5 to 1.0 seconds only
Too little trailing silence! s/b 5 seconds
At the 15:00 mark, is this wonderful turn of phrase: "He had a sad, beery moustache, a very cold-looking face, and, of course, a little boy, his son, no doubt, for a satellite."
Section 30
=========
volume 88.2 it would be nice to bump it up a bit TO 89
Too much lead-in silence. Should be .5 to 1.0 seconds only
Too little trailing silence! s/b 5 seconds
05:26 heard " NATTILY the horse-mange man." s/b " NOT ONLY the horse-mange man."
7:50, and 8:24 air blast sound: a cough?
14:04 that air blast again. Seems to happen mostly on final "F"s.
Thank you for reading for this project!!

Length: 20:47 91.6 decibels
Let me know if there's changes to make. Next project maybe I'll read chapters in order so I have better sense of the storyline!
Thanks.

Section 18 PL NOTES
=============
Please make corrections in these PL Notes and when you re-load the file, drop the capital-"K" in the name. Only lower-case letters are allowed in the file names. I'm guessing that you didn't run the CHECKER program on this file; it would have alerted you to this error.
Belowis a repeat of the PL NOTES I made earlier this morning for sections 29 and 30!
Too much lead-in silence. Should be .5 to 1.0 seconds only
Too little trailing silence! s/b 5 seconds
Yaaaaay! there are no air/percussive sounds from your mic on this recording! Great audio quality.
3:47 - cell phone or computer alert noise
Only for future reference: "basalt" is pronounced "buh-SALT". there is no long-A and the accent is on the second syllable.
This is a wonderful recitation, Lisa! Thank you.
