Hello Todd,
What a great recording of the conclusion; Sternberg certainly lived a fascinating life! My only notes are the following; please check 1:12, where "Mr." should be "Dr.," at 2:30 again "Mr." reads to me as "Dr." and the same at 5:09 where "Mr." reads as "Dr." Thanks for reviewing.

Ava - I agree with your comment on use of Quote/unquote. It's just that I'm stupider when I'm concentrating on the reading than in retrospect :0)
I read this before seeing your response to section 1. I think I used quote/endquote less for short bits - and there's also a fairly long quote of what
somebody else said distinguished only by a change of voice. Hopefully it will be clear that it's a quote.
Ping. I don't see this ready for PL in the MW.

Thanks,
Adrian

Hi Tom,
I listened to Section #6 and have the following notes:
** at 23:05 please change "his" to "this"
**at 23:57 "rivers" should read "streams"
**at 24:50 "were" needs to be changed to "we"
**at 35:06 "discretions" should read "digressions"

Thank you for the fixes; I'll check back soon. You did a nice job!

Question: Is it acceptable to hold off on doing noise reduction on the initial .mp3 and just wait to do it on the final .mp3 after the initial has been PL'ed and corrections made?

I noticed that the quality drops a bit every time I run noise reduction on an entire section, and if I have to record a few more places for corrections, I'll need to run it again - which knocks the quality down some more.

No, because if there's nothing to fix, then you have to reupload just for the noise reduction, which doesn't make our server happy at all.

Plus: you should do the noise reduction on the corrections file before you splice the corrections into the main file.

I keep the original audacity file until a project is catalogued. This way I can make any corrections in the master file and don't have to start from the mp3. Another option is to keep a .wav or .flac file - they are lossless too and much smaller than the audacity file.

I just noticed section 6 is in red in the table and says "See PL Notes" but I don't see any PL notes after I posted section 6 with corrections on May 27.
